Babak Larian, MD, FACS is a board-certified otolaryngologist and head & neck surgeon based in Los Angeles, California, internationally recognized for his expertise in minimally invasive parotid, thyroid & parathyroid surgery. He is widely regarded as a pioneer in advanced, nerve-sparing surgical techniques that minimize scarring, protect facial nerve function, and accelerate recovery.
Dr. Larian earned his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine as a Regents Scholar and completed his residency in Head and Neck Surgery at UCLA Medical Center, where he now serves as Clinical Faculty. He has served as Director of the Cedars-Sinai Head & Neck Cancer Center of Excellence and is the longest-serving Clinical Chief of the Division of Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery.
